Welcome...
I would have preferred Linderbaum or Zion, but maybe he'll be good.Didnt particularly care for him…but i am happy they picked a top o-line prospect.
They addressed two positions of need, but not in the way I was hoping. Hope I'm just an ill-informed fan.I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here, they got themselves an o lineman. As a whole, not liking the 1st round tonight.
15th pick -greenAnyone know the compensation for the trade down?
Yes, we got a 4th and 2 5ths, giving us 3 picks each in the 4 & 5th rounds this weekend.15th pick -green
2022 4th
2023 5th x 2 i believe
That pretty good for moving down two spots.15th pick -green
2022 4th

Never been anything else since HSDefinitely a position of need. I hope he's a good guard.
he’s been a guard his whole career…but last year he switch over to play some tackle…I dunno is this guy strickly a guard or does he have any potential for playing tackle for us ?
Yes. He's played every position except OC.I dunno is this guy strickly a guard or does he have any potential for playing tackle for us ?
Munchak, MathewsI'm not thrilled with a guard at 15. Then I think about Quinten Nelson type and say - OK.
He was the 5th rated OT in the nation coming out of High School (Atascocita) Humble Texas. played 4 different positions including both Right and Left Tackle @Texas A&M. 2021 12 starts; seven at LG, two at RT, two at RG and one at LT has position versatility. Warhop probably pounded the table for him, know I would.he’s been a guard his whole career…but last year he switch over to play some tackle…
I agree about a guard @ 15 but even #6 overall is too high for a guard like Nelson IMO.I'm not thrilled with a guard at 15. Then I think about Quinten Nelson type and say - OK.
Thanks. With his size and wide base he’s a load.Watch this……
You of course are grouping together two different regimes: Casserio is full rebuild mode.Considering just Texans draft capital, they have now spent the following on their current offensive line.
4 1st round picks
2 2nd round picks
1 4th round pick
Do you believe in do over’s and mulligans?Considering just Texans draft capital, they have now spent the following on their current offensive line.
4 1st round picks
2 2nd round picks
1 4th round pick
Dallas passed on him for a project RT.Well, there goes Linderbaum.
Yeah that was surprising.Dallas passed on him for a project RT.
When you draft busts, you've gotta keep on swinging. The RB's will avg more than 3.0 ypc next yr.Considering just Texans draft capital, they have now spent the following on their current offensive line.
4 1st round picks
2 2nd round picks
1 4th round pick
It took 20 years to break the rookie passing yard record.Green is nice. Probably going to be one of the best Olinemen to ever wear a Texans uni.
Caserio understands the sunk cost fallacy.Do you believe in do over’s and mulligans?
Our RBs will no doubt enjoy it more as well.I am getting excited thinking of how much the OL will improve from a more attacking mentality. Then add a blue chip LG like Green to slot in next to the returning pro bowl LT. Mills is going to have an opportunity to succeed!
Thats odd, I was thinking I like him despite him being from A&M.I like that he is from A&M. I don't know much at all about this player, but still for some reason I have a good feeling about this pick.
We have RBs?Our RBs will no doubt enjoy it more as well.
R.ex B.urkhead. R.oss B.lacklock RBs...LOLWe have RBs?
Excellent share Marcus, thanks man!Watch this……
No Brainer. Any idiot could've and would've accepted that trade proposal from the Eagles though, so no credit to Nick The GMspeak Robot for that one. That pretty good for moving down two spots.
