How do you like this scenario? Titans take Young, and he sits for a year. He spends his 2nd 3rd season learning and growing. By the time he plays out his contract he will be a Pro-Bowl QB. Finally a free agent, Young finally comes home and signs with the Texans for the prime of his career. So we let Tennessee groom him and then we reap all the benefits. Yes!!

If the Titans have a healthy, young pro bowl QB who knows the offense and knows the playbook, they aren't going to let him go in FA.

When was the last Pro Bowl QB to leave a team (without a injury concern like Brees)??? The franchise tag makes it impossible nowadays...

You mean other than Joe Montana, Steve McNair (likely), Drew Bledsoe, Kerry Collins, Matt Hasselbeck, Mark Brunell, Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson... There are more who bloomed with second teams like Steve Young, Jake Delhomme...

To be fair, Brunell, Warner and Johnson aren't exactly franchise QB's. Warner had those 2 or 3 good years and got injured. Brunell had some good years with Jacksonville, but he was never an elite QB. Johnson seemed to be a late bloomer with Minnesota, Tampa Bay, then back to Minnesota. Hasselbeck was also Favre's backup in Green Bay. He wasn't coming off a Pro Bowl type season like Brees was. I think the question should be: Which QB's have been cut after having amazing season's in the prime of their career. Montana and McNair (if he leaves) both went to other teams well after their prime.

Yes, Now Vince AND Reggie will put up crazy numbers against us from now on. WHile Mario hangs out eating his sandwiches...

I don't care as long as Mario likes #10 combo's, #18combos, and #7 combos twice a year :heh:

The initial comment was signing him after he had a pro bowl season in Tennesse when he is about 28 years old, not if he sucked in Tennessee and came here...28 to 30 year old pro bowl QBs don't switch teams.
