Draft Order Picks

1. Houston Texans: Bush, Reggie, RB USC
No brainer here in my opinion. They wont be able to find a suitable trade. Bush is a great talent and they cant pass on him. NFL Comparison: Marshall Faulk

2. New Orleans Saints: Young, Vince, QB Texas
Many people like Leinart here, but I think they will go with Young. Think about it. New Orleans will need to attract fans. They also just got Sean Payton as their coach. He was a former QB coach. People say Young's only weakness is his passing. If anyone could help Young improve on that, its Payton. NFL Comparison: Daunte Culpepper

3. Tennessee Titans: Leinart, Matt, QB USC
With Young gone, Leinart is the obvious choice. They need a successor to Steve McNair. Will be paired up with former USC coordinator Norm Chow. NFL Comparison: Tom Brady

4. New York Jets: Ferguson, D'Brickashaw, OT Virginia
Bush, Leinart, and Young are gone, so they will go with the sure thing in D'Brick. NFL Comparison: Walter Jones

5. Green Bay Packers: Hawk, A.J., OLB Ohio St.
Great speed, doesnt miss many tackles. With Gbaja-Biamila and Aaron Kampman, I dont think Mario Williams is the best choice for the Packers. NFL Comparison: Brian Urlacher

Great atheticism, will make any defense better. In my opinion, he is the best defensive player available. NFL Comparison: Julius Peppers

Alex Smith needs someone to throw to. Davis is the best receiving threat available in my opinion. Maybe the most athletic tight end ever to enter the draft. Has been timed at 4.41 in the 40. Unbelievable work ethic. Incredibly hard to bring down. NFL Comparison: Kellen Winslow (only the athletic part, not the hard-headed part)

8. Buffalo Bills: Ngata, Haloti, DT Oregon
The Bills run D was awful last year. Ngata will sure it up a bit. NFL Comparison: Kevin Williams

9. Detroit Lions: Cutler, Jay, QB Vanderbilt
Harrington era is over in Detroit. Hopefully Cutler fairs a little better. NFL Comparison: Matt Hasselback

Decent size, put up great numbers on a team that didnt have any other great players. NFL Comparison: Edgerrin James

Good speed, good hands. Reggie Brown looks good and he and Santonio will be a good tandem. NFL Comparison: Marvin Harrison

Only weighs about 205, but runs like hes 225. Good quickness. He is always a threat to break a big one. NFL Comparison: Tiki Barber

Controls his man very well. If Maroney or LenDale White is available here, then the Cowboys could take one of them. But if they arent, they will have to stay with Julius Jones. Larry Allen and Flozell Adams are getting old, so Justice is a good choice here. NFL Comparison: Chris Samuels

19. San Diego Chargers: Hagan, Derek, WR Arizona St.
Keenan McCardell is getting old and they need someone to go with Antonio Gates. Hagan may be a bit of a reach here, but they need a receiver. NFL Comparison: Chad Johnson

20. Kansas City Chiefs: Hali, Tamba, DE Penn St.
The Chiefs would like to pick up a receiver here, but with Holmes and Hagan off the board, they look to defense. Hali is a huge steal at #20 NFL Comparison: Terrell Suggs

Bruschi and Vrabel cant play forever. Greenway has good size and provides good depth. NFL Comparison: Mike Vrabel

The Giants are very short on linebackers. Sims is very athletic and his stock is rising. They could also look at D'Qwell Jackson. NFL Comparison: Donnie Edwards

27. Carolina Panthers: McNeill, Marcus, OT Auburn
They would really like a running back to fall to them here, but thats not gonna happen. Jordan Gross and McNeil could anchor that line for the next 5-10 years. NFL Comparison: Jonathon Ogden

28. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jean-Gilles, Max, OG Georgia
Big and strong, he takes his defenders completely out of the play. NFL Comparison: Larry Allen

Rod Smith will be 36, Lelie has underachieved a bit. Jackson is 6'1" 205, and he can spread the field. NFL Comparison: TJ Housmandzadeh

He is a tad bit small, but makes up for it with sideline to sideline speed. Doesnt miss many tackles and he is good in pass coverage. NFL Comparison: Keith Bulluck

Polamalu is great, but the rest of the secondary needs help. Hill may not have the best size, but he is very fast. NFL Comparison: Dre' Bly

Seahawks led the league in sacks, but without any standout lineman. Wright is just about 315 lbs, and he can rush the passer pretty well for a 300+ lb guy. Tall at 6'5", so he can swat down passes. Good potential. NFL Comparison: Albert Haynesworth

As of right now, i have Ko Simpson going about mid second round, maybe to a team like the dolphins or the cowboys, but his stock is rising, and he will probably make it mid to late first round.
 
Interesting thought on a draft, and definately one of the better pre-workout ones I have seen. I still am not sold that AJ Hawk sniffs anything other than 7-10. most teams will have a run on Corners and pass rushers. I think you covered pass rushers pretty well, but coners kinda got left out in the cold. I also did not see that rise player, kinda like Ko simpson that would likely go ahead of guys like Bing and Landry. Good start though will be interesting to see what you do aftter the senior bowl though.

yea, simpson is an interesting player. he is a guy whos stock is steadily rising, i still would like to see what he does at the combine before i put him ahead of bing and landry.

the pick where bing is going could very well be landry. i actually am having second thoughts about that pick. i think the bengals would take landry over bing now that i think about it. and if simpson continues to rise, he is a guy who would go somewhere in the 20-30 pick range.

but i just have to wait until after the combine and senior bowl to see how Ko Simpson ranks among others DBs

If NO needs to attract fans, then getting VY won't help since he won't see the field unless there are injuries in his 1st 2 yrs. They need someone to step in quick, NO and VY have no connections either this pick has no flavor to it.

Right now look for Huff to be chosen as the 1st DB, Jimmys stock is dropping fast and don't be surprised if hes not even pick in the 1st

This pick makes no sense. The Browns, a 3-4 pick, drafting a 4-3 DE that won't change to LB is a pick for a fiction book

Right now the Eagles need more help at DT, DE, or LB. After losing Corey Simon teams have found out that you can run on these guys, and Santonio isn't worth a top 15 just yet.

yea, with Hawk the raiders would have a good young pair of linebackers with Hawk and Kirk Morrison but Nick Barnett and Hawk would look even better.
 
by the way, after watching some of the senior bowl practices i have changed some of my picks. ill post a new draft after senior bowl
