Pats-Broncos AFC Championship game

The picture after a 4th down stop of Kubiak, Wade and Bill Kollar. Owen Daniels has 2 touchdowns. Keo ends the game on the hands team.

I was bitter and upset about that possibility for a long time but not anymore. See my post in the Kubiak destination thread. Any blame or bitterness I have should be directed at Bob McNair and only him. He could have had this type of Super Bowl caliber team if he wanted it.
 
I was wrong. Manning didn't hit any notable throws and his inaccuracy tried it's hardest to lose the game, but they won in spite of it.

The only team out of the four that I was rooting against was the Patriots. I like both Arizona and Carolina, but will be rooting for Manning, Kubes, Daniels, Phillips, Miller, Ware and others individually and collectively for the Super Bowl.

Still not sure if I want to see the Broncos win Super Bowl 50. I'll likely cheer for the Panthers or Cardinals instead but the Broncos should be the favorites.

He plays hard but he also was called for a 15-yard personal foul. Although it was questionable. He's not a very smart player but I love how hard he plays. Another ex Texan I'd rather not talk too much about. The other three are pure class and it's hard not to like them. Kudos to Kubiak, Phillips and Daniels.

Gronk looked like he was about to hit the official arguing for a pass interference. Three guys drapped all over him and Talib definitely wrapped his arm around Gronk. Looked like pass interference to me that wasn't called. Wow.

Rob Gronkowski typically gets that call. Phil Simms said it was a good no-call. I'll take his word for it but it looked like a lot of contact on Talib's part.

To me, that looked like minimal amount of contact. All three DB's were going for the ball, and of course Gronk is going to try to exaggerate any contact he received there. Good no call.
 
Might be the worst performance I've ever seen by an O-Line on that kind of stage. Broncos have a great pass rush but they were getting instant pressure on 3 and 4 man rushes all game. Brady got hit over 20 times and was pressured on over half of his 50+ drop backs.

I'm amazed they made it to the championship game because that offense is basically playing 2 vs 11 on every play.
 
My personal preferences:
Arizona (to spite the Colts)
Carolina (18-1 the right way)
canceled SB
Denver (will never root for an old coach)
 
This game will go down as one of the best games ever. Besides Montana, these two are ranked in the top 3 qbs of all time. You can say that you were alive during the Brady vs Manning rivalry. Besides Bradshaw vs Stabler, I cant think of a greater playoff rivalry. And Both Manning and Brady would run circles on Stabler and Bradshaw.

It appears that Carolina will be the other Super Bowl team, and I've done some multitasking during the game because it really isn't too interesting. Perhaps the early game excitement was draining. Big comebacks can happen, but Arizona isn't looking like a playoff team so far.
 
See Bob if you hire a real GM and let him do his job Gary could coach a championship team. The idea that you would give Gary as a first time coach that much power might have been the dumbest decision ever, but I am glad to know that you didn't learn your lesson because you gave another first time coach the same power.
