Parking Issues

Tell me again where do email concerns about parking at Reliant.

I park in the Orange but tailgate in the Platinum Lot. When I pull into the Orange Lot, the parking attendants direct everyone all the way to the far end adjacent to the Dome forcing everyone to drive through the narrow lanes that are already occupied by tailgaters. Almost no one has sense enough to move out of the way.

As tempting as it is to just run them over, I would prefer to be like Clark Griswold at Wally World and park near the exit without having to drive through the gauntlet of tailgaters. The parking attendants are programmed like robots and do not allow people to just pull in as soon as they drive through the gates.

I need help from the people at Reliant.

fanfeedback@houstontexans.com is where you should send complaints... But like you, I also park in the Orange but we never much listen to the Yellow Jackets.. If you want to park near the back, just go to where you want to go.. After 9 years, I can say honestly that we never have gone where they have tried to send us and we just go to where we have always been.. Most of them turn over after every season, so they have no concept on what is really going on with us seasoned tailgaters..

But if you do send the email, you will get a reply, but most likely not what you are going to want to hear... good luck

For the Saints game we were car #2 in Platinum.

I laughed when they try to direct me.

I'm prett sure I can handle an open and empty parking lot :)

A few years back, I drove over with some friends that were in the Blue Lot. As we drove up, we could seem them about three spaces away from the drive. The parking attendant refused to move the orange cone and tried to direct us all the way down. My buddy donbmt, got out of the truck and moved the cone.

I hate to be rude but if the parking people will not cooperate, then its time to take matters into our own hands.

I have emailed the fan feedback and am awaiting their reply.

I know parking attendants are "just doing their job", but still, sometimes they could engage their brains when doing those jobs.

Gwallaia,

This is the guy you need to mail direct:

Ted Dickerson

ted.dickerson@houstontexans.com

Manager of Traffic and Parking Services

NFL Houston Texans

He was VERY helpful last year after the Cowgirl game....... when we NEEDED TAILGATING TICKETS. Now this year...... he is not so helpful...... Texans are getting greedy about the tailgate passes. My 73 year old mom and 70 year old aunt come to every game and watch the game outside on the flat screen to look after our tailgate set-up, have for the last 5 years. I pay $230 for them a parking pass, now since the cowgirl fans screwed up our tailgating, I now am penalized by having to buy them tailgating passes to look after our stuff. It really sucks....... but you know they are going to milk every penny they can out of all season ticket holders. :pissed:
