So the guy they took with the number 8 pick (Donte Whitner) wasn't supposed to go until later in the 1st round. And the guy they took with their 26th pick after trading a 2nd and 3rd is some guy named John McCargo (also from North Carolina St.). I know Marv Levy was a great coach and such, but he's about 90 years old. Maybe the game has passed him by. Or maybe he's an amazing genius and see's something in these guys that no one else did.

No, the Bills passed up the entire first round by trading up to get a guy they surely could have gotten in the 2nd. Even if you think he's not worth #1, Mario certainly would have gone in the top 5.
