What a shame, another gifted football player gets out of the state of Texas.

The only reason he got out was because his brother was already at Oregon St.

Jacquizz was way more heavily recruited.

If Art Briles would have had enough sense to see the big picture he might be at UH right now. Art Briles wouldn't recruit his brother and thats eventually what made him go to Oregon St. I have heard they are very close and its nice to see family stick together like that. Its good to see him doing so well as a freshman.

his footwork & change of direction is breathtaking. he is stealth behind linemen, durable despite slight size & will be a weapon someday in the NFL.

I got to see that Thursday night game earlier this season when he and his team beat USC, and he is a spectacular runner who can cut on a dime, and yet is obviously very durable as USC was really poppin him that night, but he always hopped right up.
I hope O-State goes to a Bowl game this year, because thats about the only way those of us in Texas can see him if he's not playing USC.

Jacquizz Rodgers and his Oregon State team are hosting the U of California
today and the game is scheduled to be on national TV (ABC, channel 13 locally), @ 2:30 PM. So if that scheedule holds for local TV, its a chance to see Rodgers for Houston fans.

Damn Quizz had to ruin my Trojans title hopes though:bat:

The kid is going to be something good though. about a fourth of the hits on him are horsecollars because its the only way to tackle him. I remember Rey and Mays basically having to go to one knee to take him down.

Jacquizz is now #9 in the country in rushing at 123.3 yards per game.

He also has 28 catches and 12 total TD's.

Not bad work.
