One Thing I Noticed

I usually go to opposing team's message boards to see what "they" are saying, talk a bit of smack, talk a bit of football, etc. Let me give my impression, and take it any way you want.

Your board doesn't seem to have a lot of traffic. I make a post, and can come back a day later, and it's still on the front page!

I will say though, you all have been really great as far as having civilized discussion (not the same on our board) and have been good overall.

Win or lose, I will be back on Monday. Not to gloat, but to offer sympathy. IF, for some strange reason we lose, I will be back to congratulate.

The only threads you have posted in are all related to Sunday's game, some people here are more concerned with our season as a whole, David Carr, and the possible coaching change next season. There isn't much traffic here on Saturday's and probably less than usual today with the motorcycle rally this weekend in Galveston and other big events going on in the area. The gameday thread tomorrow should be buzzing as usual. I know I wish I was at the rally instead of here at work...

Your board doesn't seem to have a lot of traffic. I make a post, and can come back a day later, and it's still on the front page! I don't quite understand why that is bad. Quality over quantity, and you have touched on quality below. Less is more.

I will say though, you all have been really great as far as having civilized discussion (not the same on our board) and have been good overall. Ours is not without our naysayers or troublemakers, but it does boil down to we collectively (for the most part) are genuine fans, not College fans who come to pork up our board (like what happend to y'all). We don't have the troll problem you face. And with our mods, we never will.
