ok my 1st mock

trade down with raiders for 1,2,4 and next yrs 1 and 5
1. eric winston, ot, miami
2. jonathan scott, ot, ut
2. leo henige,og, michigan
3. griffen, cb, ut
3. anthony schlegel,ilb, ohio state
4. mark anderson, de, alabama
4. reggie mcneal, qb, a & m
5. will thompson, de, georgia
6. ryan hamby,te, ohio state
7. dwayne slay,s, texas tech

this would fix both tackles give us an earthmover at guard more speed at cb
and take 2 de who came from very good defenses the past few yrs...the te is schooled on how to block first if we need more protection and how to slip out if qb is under pressure..still early but these individuals stood out on good teams and all bring that nastiness that is so badly needed..:fans:

Not bad but not great. I definitely like getting Eric Winston, although some mocks now by people like Mel Kiper have him slipping all the way to the 2nd round so we could get him at #33 and use our 1st rounder on something else (Mario Williams, trade down farther to get Jimmy Williams/Michael Huff, etc.). I don't think we need both Scott and Winston unless you are intending Scott to play OG (Chester Pitts is fine at LT/RT), but I think Davin Joseph would probably be a better pick for our team. I don't know anything about Leo Henige and can't find a scouting report on him, so I don't know, plus I think if we sign LeCharles Bentley and then draft Eric Winston and Davin Joseph our OLine will be pretty nice, maybe get a later round OG to replace Wiegert in a year or get Setterstrom from Minnesota. I probably wouldn't get Reggie McNeal in the 4th round, if he's available in the 5th or lower maybe, but not with an early pick in the 4th round, we can look to fill more needy positions there. I really doubt Slay will last until the 7th round, if he somehow does that would be a steal, but I think he'll be gone by the end of the 4th or early 5th at the latest. Not bad, I like that you are trying to address many of our needs, but I think a few of the specific player selections could be improved.

actually, i prefer to move pitts back inside and put scott at rt if we have bookend ot's from same yr we should be fine by drafting ahead for their replacements in yrs to come...slay could move up to where mcneal is the mich og is just huge and has cleared holes for 4 yrs which is hard to do when everyone knows it is coming....i wouldn't go by mel totally though on where winston goes he will have 4 drafts between now and then moving him higher and lower so he can say he had him going there in his mock gil brandt says he is a first rounder i will go with gil:ok:

Will Slay drop to the 7th?
probably sixth or seventh rounder not fast enough to cover but strong enough to hit good for zone coverage which denver did a lot of in their secondary...depends on new philoshy of defense.:yahoo:
