Ok I'm tired of....

I'm tired of all this Texans bashing... Yeah we lost and bad play calling and no O-line so what. We won 7 games this year swept 2 division rivals and made some good strides for the future. It's over lets just forget about it and go into the offseason with the mindset that we are going to the playoffs next year. It's not the end of the world... + we get a better draft spot it's gonna be okay
 
well im sorry you are tired of it.. but the fact of the matter is we just lost the last game of the season... badly ....to the worst team in the league, with an interim coach, on a 9 game losing streak, at home, ruining our chance at our first 3 game winning streak, and showing conclusively that we are a BAD team incapable of steady production

Yah there is a silver lining, yah we could be better next season.. but personally, ive got to go about 8 months with this game on my mind, and im not quite ready to just pack it away and say "oh well, we DID play good at times"..

Saddam did a good deed now and again too, doesnt mean im ready to give him a hug and a high five.
 
I mean c'mon, Saddam is right up there with other humanitarians like Caligula, Stalin, Milosovic (sp), Ivan the Terrible, Vlad Dracula.....and many others. I was going to ask grid for a list of Saddams good deeds though :rofl:

WAH, WAH, WAH We lost a game at the end of the year and played badly, so freakin what. Oh my, you have to go 8 months with a bad game on your mind, cry me a river. We are a third year team that has improved every year and will continue to do so. Sorry it doesn't meet your time table, but then you put up the nearly Billion dollars to fund it. Oh waite, that wasn't you. If ya feel that bad about it go root for the Bud Duds. They need fans like you and Wonger. Better yet the Cowpies, their fans are of your ilk.
 
its one day after our worse loss this season.. a game that we should have won hands down and shown that we actually DID take a positive step at the end of the year. Pardon the hell out of me for not wanting to be all smiles and positive thoughts. Geez.. Ive backed up this team all year and explained away all our shortcomings with everyone else.. you would think I had spent the season trolling. I swear.. some people on this board just go into "homer mode" when we lose a game like this. Instead of getting down on the team or upset about the loss.. they just start chanting "SHUTUP WE ARE GREAT SHUTUP WE ARE GREAT SHUTUP WE ARE GREAT!!!"

And some people go into the we want to be a franchise just like the Cleveland Browns mode. Fire somebody...replace the quarterback...they have no heart.... ya de da. Which is worse ?
 
Do we have to pick? both are pretty damn annoying. If you are saying that I fit into the "fire someone" mold.. read my posts :P. I do however think that we lack heart when we need it most.

I have read them all.. I choose not classify anybody except a few that don't have a clue...but that is for me to know.
Personally I believe what we lack is talent but we are close. With no significant injuries next year we should make the playoffs. If not, then I might move closer to the other side.
 
well.. I think that we have more problems than cap room.. and that aint good. If it was just our Dline and pass rush that needed work.. we would be in great shape to be a big contender next season.. but with our Oline falling apart on the last day like that.. it became obvious that the Oline is gonna have to be the #1 priority.

now.. shoring up the Oline, Dline, and getting a pass rush? thats gonna be hard to do with our cap space. We NEED to make at least one big free agent signing.. we need to fix our oline problems immediatly before we lose Carr. The Dline can be addressed in the draft hopefully.. and if we get a good dlineman or two.. it may free up our existing OLBs of Babin, Wong, and Peek.. to provide the pass rush we have been lacking. A real threat at DE.. a Dwight Freeney/The Freak kinda threat.. that is what we need.
