Quit whining..

You have no freakin clue on why Mario was taken, they must think pretty high of him. In addition, we have 2 experienced coachs (Sherman and Reeves) and a new coach. Give them some credit on what we need for this team. Folks.. We have a RB in Davis. Is Bush better, yes... but we have a crapload of NEEDS. We dont need a FILLED position. I too would have liked to have Bush, but I would like a compared 'Jevon Keerse' more.

Defense wins championships folks... You know.. I do too... Give Williams a chance to show what he can do before we start screaming on why this is a bad pick!:challenge

Williams not only instantly improves our defensive line, but he could also help LB and CB play by taking on double teams and getting in the backfield wreaking havoc. I am starting to like the pick more and more.

VY getting chosen would have been the equivalent of me winning the 36 mil Texas lottery tommorow. Neither one is happening now. darnit.
 
Ok, first off Defense does not win championships. Yes, it helps but at the end of the game if you don't put up points you can't win. This is a bad move, maybe not from a football standpoint maybe he will bring the impact that the Texans want, but what about the excitement? The marketability and growth of the Texan fanbase. I sure as hell wasn't waiting to get a Williams jersey. Jersey sales for Williams will never match the sales for Bush. He will never be as visible as Bush. Carolina has Peppers and even if they have a great D they never made it to the SB. We passed up having a dynamic offense that would be feared for a mediocre team. I won't say I'm giving up on the Texans only time will tell, but this move is ****ed up.

I understand what you are saying, but I think you might not see what I see. How many people have ray lewis jerseys.. or Kearse, or roy williams... Dude.. If he is as big as a impact player think he might be, he could be much BIGGER then Bush.

Oh give me a break. Just because I am a fan of this team dosen't mean I have to cheer and their every decsion. I have the right to complain as well when they make dumb decsions. And will you still be praising this pick if Williams is a complete flop?

Yep... because I will be supporting the team.. Dude.. Bush is a awesome player... but Mario we something we needed too.. You have to know that... What if Bush flops.. would you say the same?

Actually it's the two that got away! Passing on Vince for Bush was one thing, but passing on both of them for this guy. Thanks Drayton McNair for making us the laughing stock of the NFL!

may be first post ,but i am a psl owner and season ticket holder..I have the right to ***** all i want..just as if i got bad service at a restaurant..this from the same team thats raised ticket prices every year .. terrible call..only a true texan suck-*** would disagree

How about this. I hated the Hollings move, hated trading for babin, and was pissed when we drafted TJ over DJ and marcus spears.

Today I feel just as bad. Stupid stupid stupid. I feel like a jets fan.

nobody here is ripping the player,,but in comparison you let 2 of the most exciting offensive players go by, including a hometown guy that could be the signature of a fledgling franchise baffles me.. money should never be the reason for a pick..It reaks of cheapness .. franchise has been a joke and continues today
