I noticed that DeLoach got an ankle injury, but the nose tackle play regardless has to be better. One of the main reasons for not enough pressure on the QB, is the failure of the nose to tack on two offensive linemen. That is the sole job in the 3-4. If you look at the best in the league, Washington and Hampton, their stats aren't great, but they take on two blockers, allowing their linebackers to stunt and create havoc. Our nose tackles are being played man on man, allowing the remaining offensive lineman to pick up a linebacker or passrusher. I know this is only one game, but until Payne comes back, truly healthy, this will remain a problem. G-Funk and Smith will pick up their sack total, once the Nose Tackle picks up a few extra blocks!
