Offensive line???????? 2rd no olineman? demeco ryans???? first williams bumps out babin and peek. now ryans knocks them out too. can we finally admit babin was a mistake? still no help for david. makes sense? doesnt it?
 
These are kubiak's players. NOT casserly's. Babin will play DE on a rotation.

J. Scott out of UT will be their in the 3rd.

Obviously Kubiak believes our offense is not as bad as we think.

We picked up flannigan for Center. I still think we have 2 3rds and will address an O-line pick then along with a CB.
 
I'm half drunk and boiling crawfish, but am I correct that Marcus Mcneil, Winston Justice, and Eric Winston fell to us at 33 and we took Ryans? We better trade both of these 3rd rounders to move up and grab one of these guys. Every year our weakness remains the same and we totally ignore it.
 
I know what you mean... When our franchise first started, the OLine was supposed to be the focus.

Now look at it...
 
I posted several times earlier today that we will not take any OL before the 3rd...We should hope Colledge is available in the 3rd because if he's not, we're only taking OL tomorrow...
 
I'm sorry... McKinney is a nice guy and all, and I know he is better at guard than center, but he is getting washed up. He was blown up on the inside repeatedly last year.
 
Apparently the coaches think the OL we have now will improve from the change in the offense. They've been coaching pro ball longer than me, so I'm all right with it.
 
How can you ignore the offensive line not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE years in a row. Are the Texans TRYING to suck? I know that would seem like a stupid question, but given their mesmerizingly horrible personnel descisions over the course of the franchise, it's enough to make one wonder.

Joe Pendry has coached alot longer than you also.

I tend to think it was just the old staff that sucked. They sucked so bad, the coordinators still don't have jobs.

Capers sucked so bad as an HC, he only has ONE winning season out of 8 in his career as an HC.

I tend to think Kubiak and Sherman can get more from these guys than Capers or Pendry.
 
its ok winston and colledge are still there i see us going o-line and rb(based on what CC has said) in the 3rd although id prefer a DB instead of RB.

il admit im not really enjoying our draft so far (more ryans than mario im having trouble with) but i wont say anything until they line up for us and play

I agree with this except that Winston will be long gone by the time the 3rd round starts.
 
It doesn't matter what you do, this o-line has sucked for 4 years, and bringing in one guy is not going to make it a decent o-line. Damn what a crazy draft
 
It's about the scheme, and that will be changing.

Even as bad as the O-line has been, we can't compete unless we do so on the defensive side first.

If at the minimum we shut out the opposing team, we at least have a chance to win.

The Texans are addressing that issue, plenty of O-line talent will be there in the 3rd round. You have to assume that Sherman would be screaming if he felt that we HAD to have a lineman with the 2nd round pick.
