Nice win, still need improvement

Our record improves to 1-6 with a win over Cleveland yesterday.

We had a winning formula: force turnovers on defense, have an effective running game, and have solid special teams. We also made big plays on both sides of the ball. We did this some against Indianapolis as well, minus the 'big plays' part.

However, we still need a better passing game. Our o-line did a better job blocking, but still needs to pick up a few more, (lets face it- it was Cleveland, any other team and sacks would have been much higer). But, when Andre Johnson does return, this should help fill that gap somewhat.

Hopefully, the team or fans dont become cocky, we still have a good amount of work to do, starting next week in Jacksonville, a key divisional matchup.

Thanks for cheering us on, those who did, and continue to do so.

I don't see this team getting cocky any time soon. If they did, they would be just plain dumb.

The Jaguars game is going to be a true test, because they've actually got a pretty good team this year. I don't see us playing consistent enough to beat them on our own, and I hope Jacksonville makes a few errors to help us out.

I'm sure the Jags will be up for this game, too, considered we're 4-2 against them and swept them last year (preventing them from reaching the playoffs!)

You are correct. They have a solid team and being swept by us last year will NOT make them any easier to deal with. Unless the Jagoffs shoot themselves in the foot with errors, we will have a VERY hard time winning this one particularly in the litterbox. Of course if more than 3 of our fans show up we will outman them in the stands.
