NFL Salary Cap Increase

I just heard on the radio where NFL teams can expect a salary cap increase in 05 of $5 million+. I believe the cap was set around $86 million per team.

I suspect most teams will think this is a very good thing!

It was around 80.5 million this year and 75 million last year, so 85 million in '05 sounds about right.

Weird, Indy has trouble with agressive DBs, so the league makes a emphasis on the rules.

Now Indy is having trouble keeping their trio around, and the cap is raised 5 mill. Weird...
