NEW YORK The NFL may seek a new host city for its annual player draft in 2009 after 43 years in New York City.
San Diego, Chicago, Cleveland and Canton, Ohio, have campaigned to host the draft, which has been held in the Big Apple since 1965, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said.
The league could consider new host cities after its two-year contract with Radio City Music Hall expires next year.
