Next Level!

Been reading some of the threads today. What it comes down 2 is. Are the Texans ready for the next level? They have been use to being under dogs (no pressure). Now that they are expected to win. They need to change their attitudes. They let the Charges come right into their house and disrespect them! Texans have the TALENT. Now it is time to work on the mental aspect of the game. Can’t blame fumbles, bad calls etc on the out come of a game. Good teams over come that. IE: Denver last night. 2 INT`S (Plummer throwing with his left hand! What was that!! idonno: ) In the 3rd Q inside their own 30. Then a fumble by Griffin on the way to a TD on the goal line! Their turnovers were worse than the Texans! Denver still found a way to win the game! 1 bright spot is Babin. Now he looks like he is going to be a Play Maker. He was the only 1 on D with intensity! Remember when he hit Tomlinson out of bounds? It was a late hit but he sent a message. I did like that 1 hit by Robinson though. Look like Chargers were running down hill on Offense and the Texans D were trying to hold on! The D needs to set the tone and the O feeds off the D! Nothing like a sack and fumble recovery on the QB. Now that would get the O going! Hopefully the Texans learned a valuable lesson here that you just can’t show up and expect to win a Game. Too much talent in the NFL. It’s only the 1st game.

Ya, know... I can only agree with that post. We'll get there eventually CP, stay tuned.

To me it seems we play timid rather than agressive. We seem to react rather than act. Until we crank it up, we will always be kind of doing the "Counter punch" thing. While that may keep it close, it also makes it easy to lose the close ones when we don't have our best "A" game working. If we act, we may lose some by a larger margin, but we will also win some by a larger margin and we will start to play faster and more agressivly.

Sorry, I don't agree. You might win some games in which you lose the turnover ratio 0-4, but you're not gonna win many of them. Turnovers really hurt.

If Denver managed to win one that way, then hats off to the Broncos.

The late hit call was pretty questionable. Babin was already moving towards Tomlinson when he was knocked out of bounds. Griffin (I think it was him) was hit 4 yards out of bounds by a Chief last night and no call. That was a case of superstar getting a call against a rookie. The PI against Dunta was weak in my opinion. The Parker TD was right in front of me and he did get the foot down. Calls are human.

I agree just a matter of agressiveness
