New to me (players & transactions help please)

Ok I see there are some transactions that took place that gave players "future" contracts and apparently they gave one to Kendrick Starling. Could they have possibly done that for Sloan Thomas and if so do you think the fact that he got hurt on his last play influenced them cutting him?
Then the last thing, I see they are checking SS and FS positions, but do you think we should take a look at a few CB's to get some help opposite Dunta Robinson?

All of these players are long-shot types. What position they play is of little importance from a strategy and team building angle. You see a ton of these between and July training camp.

Oh, some are NFL europe allocated and were signed with that in mind.

Sloan Thomas will make the Tenn. roster this year and should have made the Texans roster this past year. Sloan right now is working out here in Houston and will leave for Tenn. around the 24th of this month to start working with the team in their offseason programs.

ABSOLUTELY ... Outside of Dunta there isnt a Starting calibur CB on the roster . Demarcus Faggins is a solid Nickle but he's not good enough at this point to start . Buchannon is almost worthless in my eye's , If you cant / wont tackle you should not play defense ..... He has some value as a back-up and on special teams but nothing more .

Jason Bell is a special teams player ....Lewis Sanders was drafted as a Safety but has some potential . Chris McKenzie is small and in-experienced .

Right know Buchanon is pretty much worthless but if sombody can get on his butt like Drob or a new coach I still think he has alot of potential. Although he we most likly never reach his potential.

DRob and Buchanon are two athletically gifted corners. DRob is very solid and will do better with the extention of Jon Hoke, Buchanon can only get better with the added pass rush and a strict dont come 10yds off your man. Manning in the second game threw the ball only towards Buchanon and Faggins it was so sad to watch. Faggins is a nickel or dime depending, but McKenzie is likely better than Faggins, just short so I would say he gets my nod. I think we need a CB and/or a CB/FS type player. I like Demario Minter, Alan Zematias, Jonathan Joseph, and Anwar Phillips as CBs, and Marcus Maxey, Zematias, and Cedric Griffin as possible dual type guys.
