Anyone else have a kid being recruited? Its alot different than when I was recruited in the late 80's. Its really a trip too. My son is 2024, but he's a top rated tackle as a soon to be junior.

He will get paid through the NIL. That's a good thing because it will take some of the burden off of you.Anyone else have a kid being recruited? Its alot different than when I was recruited in the late 80's. Its really a trip too. My son is 2024, but he's a top rated tackle as a soon to be junior.
No burden on me, I'm good, real good. He's been offered by every Big 12 school, including the ones leaving. Cal,USC, Oregon. I think he's waiting on LSU. Its a trip because these coaches hop in his dm's on twitter and such. At UT, Sark, who I've known from my senior bowl days and pat kirwin had this 200 ft screen that looked like BloombergHe will get paid through the NIL. What school does he want to go to?
Honest questionOU was awesome
Its a typical college town, but OK City is 15-20 minutes away. Honestly, from my days as a college athlete and my travels, most universities are just college towns. Even as massive as UT is, they don't have any pro sports. Coach V was awesome and the coach staff.Honest question
What's there to do in Norman Oklahoma?

Not about being woke because everyone should be woke, I'm talking about with the alumni and boosters. It always feels like a country club to me. I went to SWT, my best friend went to UT in 1990 and he spent more time in San Marcos than he did at UT. I like Austin, lived there for 3 years, great city, but they treat their athletics like a pro team. That said,I've met Sark many times well before he started recruiting my son. If he can get rolling, especially in the SEC, it can be a revival similar to Bama. They have all the resources, I'm just not sure how bad they really want it.Burnt Orange, Woke, and White
