i think if levi brown is there at 10, the texans will take him. theyve invested too much into getting schaub and wasting carr that they might feel forced into taking brown. id like to see a trade down to buffalo, because we could probably still take brown at that spot, but i'm not too sure buffalo would do that.
In the 3rd, we definitely need some help in the secondary. Not many true free safeties available past the 2nd round though, so CB is the pick. Irons is a battle tested CB with good cover skills and solid measurables.
In the 4th, the best available player that fits a need position is WR. It's a deep class, but we can't wait too long to take one. Mike Walker is a big body at 6'2 210lbs with very good hands and production to back up his measurables. A very good teammate.
In the 5th, we need some help with the defensive line. We have a bunch of 3 tech guys, but no real space clogger to fill holes and take up space. Ola Dagunduro is 6'2 315lbs. He's not a giant, but he's big and was pretty productive at Nebraska.
In the 6th, my sleeper defensive back. Roderick Rogers. 6'1 190lbs with 4.45-4.50 speed. Has a nose for the ball and coverage skills. Won't be the centerfielder that Nelson is, but he's a very underrated guy that gives good value. Might move up draft boards as draft day gets closer.
7th round, whoever is still available.
1- Levi Brown OT
3- David Irons CB
4- Mike Walker WR
5- Ola Dagunduro DT
6- Roderick Rogers FS
7- Whoever
So that's it. We still need some pass rush help, but we filled up holes on the offense. The defensive secondary still isnt great, but Irons and Rogers should be solid contributors and should start over Faggins and Brown.
