My latest attempt at a Texans mock...

Wolf6151

All Pro
1. Brian Cushing-SLB, fills a huge need, hopefully still available.
2. Patrick Chung-SS, best SS in this draft.
3. Trevor Canfield-OG, plays with a nasty demeanor.
4a. Andre Brown-RB, hopefully still available and perfect for the ZBS, if not James Davis-RB.
4b. Dorell Scott-DT, hopefully replaces Travis Johnson by the end of the season.
5. Davon Drew-TE, blocking TE.
6. C.J. Spillman-FS, good depth backup to Eugene Wilson.
7. BPA.

very real possiblity, if up to Frank Bush not sure if
brian is his guy?

would bring attitude, question skill set

flip pick with Andre to be sure you get him first, ok w/Trevor in 4th

weak class for position, but if taking a shot SEC is a great place to start. can't remember, was he running just before Raji @ the combine? if so I really liked his explosion off the line.
5. Davon Drew-TE, blocking TE.
you touched on a need late in draft, but is he talented enough to make the roster & play special teams? look for a more ZBS skilled TE to slide in the draft, similar to Owens. I really like Travis Beckum, Wisconsin. I'm intriqued with Jarod Cook, South Carloina.
6. C.J. Spillman-FS, good depth backup to Eugene Wilson.
gotta take a cb, don't need more safetys to develop with Harrison/Barber, but if you've got to address FS how about an outstanding young man with a bright future, Myron Rolle, Florida State?
7. BPA
RB by committee, someones gonna get Lucky .

left you some feedback :)

I'm thinking that Canfield will be a 3rd round pick and Brown might be a late 3rd or possibly fall to the 4th. I'd rather go G/C in the 3rd because we've already got Slaton starting at RB and the 3rd round is to early to be picking backups and we need to improve at RG. I think the DT class is slightly weak as well, there's some good talent to be had in the middle rounds but not much elite talent other than Raji. As for Drew in the 5th, I don't know much about him other than what I've read and everything says he's a great blocker and we need one for the short yardage and goalline stands in 2 TE sets. In the 6th I think we'll go FS, we need a backup to Wilson since we lost Demps. Lucky in the 7th ain't bad maybe we get Lucky with him, I like it.

Your picks are pretty solid. I just posted a mock with Canfield in 4th only because some may hold his off field actions against hi. He has been out of trouble for a year and I would like him.
