Movement on the Kiper line

If Kiper & his people are right about Tony Ugoh, that's got to be a player the Texans might be eyeing if they feel he's NFL LT material. With them at #8, its perhaps a player they could trade back for, get an extra pick and still secure.
BTW, Ugoh is a Houston native.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up. Yep that seventh pick in the second round is going to be veryinteresting indeed.

Happy Birthday Buffsoldier. Haven't seen you post in awhile . Hope you're ok.

I don't particularly like Ugoh that much, at least for our system. Despite Kiper saying he is athletically gifted he seemed real stiff and not especially agile in the games I saw him, and I think he'd be a better fit at RT or OG.

He looks like an Eagles or Redskins guard. Big at the point of attack.

Also, back to the original post, expect to see Kiper change his order around every week if not more often, and once he starts spitting out mock drafts he'll do the same so when all is said and done he can look back at his past mocks and say at some point he had such and such team picking this guy and he thought that was a great fit, etc.

All you need to know about Kiper's ability to pick'em is look at the fact that he doesn't even have Reggie Nelson listed in his top 25.:shades:

Nelson didn't declare until after Kiper posted this mock.

Has Peterson declared?
Peterson backed out Thursday after a meeting with Bob Stoops. Looks like Bob is doing another stellar job of recruiting AP. Considering that the major knocks on Peterson have been injuries and the large workload, it would be silly for Adrian to return to OU and prove his critics right.

However, Kiper doesn't realize that Peterson hasn't declared. He has AP has the top rated RB available for the draft on his Top 5 Senoirs page. On the other hand, Mel still has Reggie Nelson in his Junior section (top rated Junior safety). Nelson may or may not make the Big Board's next release, but Kiper never considered him this time around.

Not that Mel is above criticism. His draft board is like the weather here in Texas. If you don't like it, wait just a minute and it will change.
