On ESPN during the Mort Report segment they just said 5 minutes ago that Jimmy Johnson turned down GM and HC jobs of the Texans.

Did anyone else see this or know anything about it? I know I have seen tons of speculation but nothing this concrete.

Mr McNair denies offering a job to Johnson. Talking things over and offering a job are usually two different things. I think Johnson was talked to but I believe it when Mc Nair says no job was offered.

I have read/heard most of the speculation...we have been discussing the possiblity for quite awhile. But this is the first report I have seen on ESPN about it, let alone that they are reporting that the job offer happened.
