Mike Mayock's Position Rankings 1/24

Dutchrudder

Hall of Fame
Thought this was interesting, a couple of surprises in his rankings. I like Mayock a lot and respect his opinions on players.

The 2012 NFL Draft may be three months away, but the evaluation process is already in full swing. NFL draft guru Mike Mayock provides his early prospect rankings at each position. These rankings will be regularly updated in the coming months, but here is where things stand on the week of the Senior Bowl:

Quarterback

1. Andrew Luck, Stanford
2. Robert Griffin III, Baylor

It's far too early in the process to apply rankings after the top three quarterbacks, but there are plenty of other signal-callers to keep an eye on. Some will be easier to evaluate than others:

His cornerback ranking are interesting.

I have mocked us taking Jenkins at the end of the first round. I think he is really a good player with #1 potential but his character concerns will probably be an issue.

If Wright is off the board I'd want us to take him over a guy like Sanu. I think a good WR can be had in rd. 2.

If Kirkpatrick fell to us I wouldn't have any reservations about taking him either.

I can see why he has kirkpatrick rated 5th though. He's not physical at all.

I think his list will change dramatically after Saturday & it shouldn't but he is stretched with his schedule. Like who could forget his commentary when Texans beat Bengals 1st rd. That was epic:clap:

Are you sure about that? :shades:
