Mike Mayock to become Raiders GM

TheOakland Raidersare hiring NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock as their general manager, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden called Mayock a "passionate personnel man" following his team's season-ending 35-3 loss to theKansas City Chiefs.

I hate this, look forward to seeing Mayock every year on the Draft.

I think ot's good news for the rest of the AFC West tho. Mayock is passionate, but he's been wrong as much as anyone even with the draft being his sole job and having access that a GM will never have. I enjoy and look forward to his take on draft prospects also... just like I do LZ
