Miami thinking QB

Ive been watching SportsCenter on ESPN, and they said that if Miami stays at #2 they are most likely going to pick up Smith. If they get a good enough offer they will trade down, but at the moment they are thinking Smith. The Dolphins GM said that they believe that Smith is a better QB than Rodgers. I cant wait till draft day to see how all of this turns out!
 
If Miami picks one of those two QBs it's going to be an interesting first round because no one knows what Miami will do. It'll have a snowball effect on the rest of the top 10 picks in the draft.
 
I heard that they are only going to picka QB IF Smith is there. I don't think they have any intrest in Rodgers.
 
From what Ive read and seen on SportsCenter, the 49er's like Rodgers better. So, then Miami would get Smith at #2.
 
I doubt that Miami is looking at Smith as a legitamate pick at #2. This is a ploy to get Arizona or someone else to try and trade up to grab someone. They will likely pick Ronnie Brown or a Defensive pass rusher since they never recovered from the loss of Adewale. I personally think they do shock people and take Shawn Merrimen since he is the closest thing to Willie McGinest in this draft. Dont forget Saban wants to make the switch to 3-4 when he gets the personnel. Plus they paid out the *** for AJ Feely they will give him one year, then they can get Linehart with the first pick.
 
No way Miami has the 1st pick next year and that's what it will take to get Leinhart. Though could u imagine this draft if he was in it?

I dont think Mia picks up Smith. They need a 2nd round pick and after giving up the 2nd last year for AJ Faily they've got to be hoping for a BREES type resurrection out of him. They are a team with LIMITLESS options and whatever they choose to do it can't be wrong. I'm still not sure if I"m them i don't stay put and draft Braylon Edwards. At least give Faily someone to THROW too.

I agree on all counts no way Miami takes Smith you can't justify the trade for Feely if you dont give him a legitimate shot. If they draft Smith it is a total waste of a 2nd rounder. Further more Edwards would be an upgrade at reciever, any of the big three RB's would be an upgrade, either corner (Rolle or Rogers) would give them flexibility in the Surtain situation,D.J would be an upgrade and a trade down would give them the 2nd rounder back that they lost.All of those situations make more sense to me than Smith at number two.
just my two cents though.
