McNabb Overrated?

Sure, too much stress and worry can make you physically ill. The hype of the big game just must have overcome him. Well at least now he can get some R&R in Hawaii.

I saw him on TV last night and he denied being sick at the SB. I don't really know what the truth is regarding this. Maybe he wasn't as sick as the media made out or maybe it was just "nerves" and to him that's not being sick.
 
I think the guy was nervous. He is still one of the best QB's in the NFL. I don't think he was aweful, he just had an uneven game. After all he did throw for 3 TD's and well over 300 yards. He was doing something right.

I blame Reid for the horrible clock management at the end of the game.
 
I think he felt that he had to win the game and didn't try to lean on any of his team mates. Not to mention that they had horrible clock management in the second half.
 
the clock management could possibly be blamed on McNabb.. and the rest of the team. If they were too tired to hurry.. then that would explain why they were ho-humminh around the field with less than a minute to go.

McNabb says he wasnt sick.. but his teammates said he was having trouble breathing.. and had to be helped to call a play on one down.

If he's "a little overrated" for getting to the Superbowl with far less to work with on offense, is it fair for me to say P. Manning is "a lot overrated" for having every major weapon at his disposal and not getting there?

everyone's overated until they win it all. Didn't mean to offend you, are you friends with McNabb or something?
 
I don't think he's overrated at all. He didn't have his best performance in the Super Bowl, but few QB's have their best performance against the Patriots D. He's a good leader, has a great arm, and can make big plays with his legs. I think he's a really good QB, wouldn't go so far as to call him great yet.
