SO... Currently I live in Jacksonville, NC... but we are closing on a house next Friday in Richlands, NC which is about 20 minutes from here. This evening my wife wanted to go check out the house and drive through the little bitty town of Richlands and see where my daughters will be going to school. We head out, go check out the elementary school, blah, blah, blah. The high school is right next to the elementary and as we are pulling out my wife says...
"Huh... hometown of 2006 #1 draft choice Mario Williams... I wonder who that is..."
"What?!?!?" I say.
"Yeah, there's a big sign that says it right in front of the high school."
SO, my kids are going to school basically where Mario went...

I didn't have a camera with me so I will do the fan boy thing this weekend and go take a picture. I'm sure they have his jersey and all that stuff retired too.
I saw that he was from Richlands but it never really dawned on me.
