Lousy Austin TV hype on Cowgirls

Did anyone catch the love fest all the local news stations had with the cowbabies the last couple of days? Tonight EVERY news station led with cowpaddies' game not being shown. What is up with that? No one gives a darn about the fact our games aren't shown. Unbelievable.
 
Yea and every station on the radio sports related did too.
They even said there would be 5 o clock like traffic as the game was over, like everyone in town is a cowgirls fan. I am so gald its over and last year the NFLN showed 8 games an no one said anything about it. It just happened this year becausea. the criminals from big d were in it b. it was a big nfc matchup due to records.
Otherwise you wont hear much when they dont show the girlz v daves pussycats.
 
This is exactly why I never watch local news or local radio sports talk here. Very uninteresting and very aggravating. I'm glad I didn't see it.
 
It's the same way in San Antonio. It's just pathetic the way the local media crams that team down people’s throats.

I guess everyone sees it differently. I was in three different bars on Thursday night, and the only "cramming" I saw was people trying to get into the bars to see the game. The Texans will have their day when they show more than six years of losing games they should have won.

Until then, I wouldn't sweat it.

I understand that, but it's just frustrating that the local media is so one sided in their coverage. The Texans normally get a mention on the Sunday nights and that's about it...meanwhile the Cowboys are covered wall to wall every day. Maybe if the local media would do a better job of covering them, more people would care about the Texans.
 
The real not so funny part about this was that some places people were charging $25 a head to sit at a table.
Most places were full by 4:30 and all the patrons were drunk by 7:30 and the waitresses complained because no tables were turned, so they didnt get any tips. And APD set up stings and several bars or restaurants reported their patrons getting stopped as oon as they left the parking lot, so there was an upswing in DWI's.
Totally pathetic, they could have stayed home and watched in on the internet on NFL.com

I am in jail, they busted me for DWI, tell the kids I love them and kiss them goodnight, but come on down and bail me out!

That is great. I'm all for keeping cowboy fan off the street.
