Look at next year

Yep, I hope the Giants finish last and get the #1 overall choice, because that means they would have to send that choice to the Chargers. For the Chargers, Revenge would be sweet on Eli and Co.

No doubt the Texans will be better, we have a 3rd year quarterback that now knows the system and has developed continuity with the other offensive players.

Regardless if the giants bring in a veteran or start Eli they still will have to develop trust with their teamates and learn the system. Plus the division that they play is much tougher than it has been in the past decade and its going to be a dog fight in the NFC Beast.

Our record should be slightly better. It will however be misleading due to the fact that we play in arguablly the hardest division in the NFL, while the Giants play Philly-good team, Dallas-over rated (QB problems), and Redskins (haven't shown anything in several years). So the Giants record could have a few wins over some suspect teams.

If you ask me the texans need to get rid of some players that are slowing us down. Those players are Tony Hollings, Jonathan Wells, and Matt Stevens (thank God they did get rid of him). To me these players are dead weight.

They need keep Stacey Mack and keep him as the back up. Then they can sign Jarred Payton as a free agent to be the third string back.

Charlie man look at these message boards and see what the fans want.

Well I am out....

Hollings slowing us down????? Not sure how you arrived at that, but let's wait until after this season before we can even begin to discuss him with some sort of rational discourse.

The Giants had a good core offense with Collins, Barber, Toomer, and Hilliard over the past few seasons. Last year they were bad because of massive injuries and a horrible offensive line. At midseason they were a disappointing 4-4. The team gave up and went 0-8 the second half of the year. That is why they got rid of Fassell (sp?).

Coughlin will demand discipline. I don't know how he will handle the fumble problems that Tiki has. It might open the door back up for Dayne to do something. Collins is gone, and Eli isn't ready for primetime (regardless of what the media and Manning family tell you). I still think Toomer is one of the most explosive receivers in the league. The question is who will be throwing the ball, Kurt Warner?

The defense is had some turnover and isn't anything special. I still wonder what they will do with their makeshift offensive line.

They have all the makings of a 6-10 to 7-9 team that could be a bit better if Coughlin is able to get that offense back on track. Even when they were "good" offensively, though, turnovers were always a problem. Tom won't let that continue.
