I listened to Pendry in the press conference a minute ago and I have a feeling we are in big trouble. He didn't act like he wanted the job...said he doesn't want to be in that position but it is what was asked of him so he will do it and "try" to put us in a situation to win games. Doesn't that sound exactly like Caper's philosophy..stay close enough to get lucky a few times a year? Anyways, he made a comment that struck a cord with me. He said he's just a soldier and he wants to go out and win for Dom. Why? So he doesn't get fired? It's not like saying lets win one for the Gipper! I think he needs to win for the organization, pride, many other things other than Dom! I'll believe it when :pigfly:
 
I heard the same press conference. He said that he did not like the circumstances. He has to say that. He and Palmer have been working together for a little while and have an off the field relationship. He has to be sensitive to Palmer. That being said, he said all the right things. His job is to put Carr in a position to be successful. Palmer never did that. He tried to change Carr to fit the system rather then change the system to fit Carr. If he uses motion and key formations to take advantage of defenses he will reduce the reads Carr has to make and he an concentrate on throwing the ball. He will also be on the sideline. He will not have to wait until half to make a change face to face. The offese will begin to move in the right direction again.

I think we play to lose so that we don't play not to lose.
 
The good thing is, if Pendry and Capers are going to be agreeing on the same thing, then they can both be blamed for problems we have and we can get rid of them at the same time when it's necessary.
 
Pendry sounds like a joke from the Old Football Coaches Joke Book. Dom sound like pablum. Cass was an ***** last night on the PBuch thing.
