2017 Astros: Earn It!
We look overmatched against a solid San Diego State team that has reeled off 27 unanswered points after we took a once forgotten 10-0 lead.
Not exactly a good first game for Major Applewhite as head coach. No in-game adjustments at all from what I have seen. Looks like winning the Las Vegas Bowl proved to be fool's gold for us
Halfway through the fourth quarter and our guys have checked out. I was hoping we could score a couple of quick TD's and at least make it an interesting finish. Greg Ward Jr.'s accuracy in this game has been horrendous. He's throwing interceptions left and right, including a pick six. I lost count of how many picks he has thrown.
This Cougs team is a lot better than what they have shown today. Coaching is such a valuable part of a team's success. And right now I have no clue what we're in for. Major Applewhite looks like he's in over his head with that "deer in the headlights" look on the side lines.

Both defenses have played great today. The UH turnovers have been the difference. Ward was not good today. The UH offense has ruined a brilliant performance by their defense. Very Texans like. UH has averaged 3.4 yards per play and turned the ball over 3 times. That's awful.
