ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Arizona Cardinals and unrestricted free agent QB Kurt Warner (Giants) have reached an agreement on a one-year deal. Financial terms were undisclosed. Warner is expected to be the team's starting quarterback for the 2005 season.
I think the Cardinals could surprise some people next year, especially with their weaker division:49ers are rebuilding, Rams have a bad defensive unit and are inconsistant, and the Seahawks are also inconsistant. With the Cardinals big, tough, physical recievers; and if Warner puts out his A game they have a very legit chance of taking the NFC West in my opinion. I would really like to see the Cardinals in the playoffs
