Ko Simpson

el toro

Rookie
He's still on the board. Would be a solid pick at #98. Gets the team a free safety prospect and he's close to being the best player available at this point. At least the team will have had about as good of a 2nd through 4th rounds as possible.

I agree, take him!

While I wanted Bush over Mario the way the roster is set now we have ZERO MAJOR HOLES OTHER THAN the defensive secondary.

QB-(let hope Carr is the man) set
RB-not a pressing need
OL-set
TE-set
FB-set

K-set??????
P-set?????? (I hope both these guys bounce back)
KR/PR-set

DL-set
LB-set
DB-need one more guy for depth
s-we have two unproven young guys

ko simpson is definetly a guy we need to add to this defensive secondary imo...also we do need to add another RB...but i'm think quinton ganther in round 6

There are a few guys who have slipped into day 2. Maybe they could put their 6 and 7 together to move into the 5th?

I've been high on Ko for awhile now. He can lay the wood and take it to the house. It's a no brainer.

is a CB for you who should be there in sixth round.
Chijioke Onyenegecha, CB, 6-1, 212, 4.44, OU. I love this guy if they can get him that late. He would be a steal. he and either Ko or Bing would really help the secondary

7th is a comp-cant be traded...future picks would have to be used

He's a nice pick but i would rather traxde up and get an extra pick in the fourth. Pat watkins is also a nice pick and I could see someone willing to move down to pick him up giving us that extra pick to use on another OT, CB, ILB, or FS.

I forgot the guy's name from Michigan last year who some folks had in the 2round who was never drafted. A safety though but apparently was too slow. Ko isn't slow at 4.45 so I would imagine he goes pretty soon. Watkins has the size and speed so I guess it comes down to who's the better playmaker. My money is on Simpson or whoever has better character. Don't know either so I can't say. Simpson is more physical and has a better nose for the ball and since he was my choice for #65 or #66 I'll stick with him here.

Ernest Shazor...

He went undrafted because he refused to move to OLB, despite it being obvious that he would never be a decent NFL SS...

That's too bad I just wonder if the deciding forces would actually listen to the masses like we actually know what's best for the team. Ko makes sense though. I wonder if they were tempted to take him in the 3rd but figured they'd better back the truck up on some o-line.

It's going to be rather hard to trade up seeing as we have the first pick...

I trust our guys will pick a gem in the 4th round. After all they found both D. Davis and Jerome Mathis there. We have one of the largest scouting departments in the NFL and they earn their money in the later rounds. They may pick a guy that we have never heard of or heard very little about, but in these rounds you have to have faith.

with that said I would be very happy to see KO Simpson's name called.
