Ko Simpson - Post Combine

Does anybody know what Ko Simpson ran or what his other workout numbers were? I am assuming he is going to be passed up on the charts by the more athletic guys who were "born for the combine."

I heard he ran a 4.45, but that was from surfing another board, so don't put much stock into it. Game film is what is going to set him apart from the other guys. He is Ed Reed in coverage.

Yes, I realize that. However, if guys like J. Williams and Bing post good #'s, along with the Minter? from Ohio St. (haven't researched him too much), Ko Simpson could fall to #33. Mike Mayock (sp?) has Simpson as a second to third rounder at best.

I've thought this through quite a bit, and if guys like V. Davis, Jay Cutler, Ty Hill, B. Bunkley and a few others keep rising into the top of half of the first round, guys like Ko Simpson could easily fall.

Lets think for a second, who could possibly draft Ko Simpson:

Atlanta: They need secondary help, but what position they take is up in the air. Huff, Hill, Cromiame, and POSSIBLY J. Willimas will cary a higher grade for their team.

St. Louis: They are the most logical team to draft Michael Huff. They are looking for versitility I believe, and he is the best player at two positions.

Dallas: While Dallas could take him, they have so many other needs that they need to address including offensive line, wide-reciever.

Cincy: Cincy is the most logical choice to take him if he falls. If Bunkley falls, they will draft him. If they are high on Gabe Watson or another DT, they will take him. FS is a need for them, but better value should be available for a bigger need position.

Those are the only teams I can see taking him before #33. It is hard to accuratly list each other teams needs, but I think I did an honest and fair assement.

What do you all think?

Does anyone have any updated #'s for him? Official times for all his drills. Maybe even some opinions about his draft position after the combine workout compared with all the other DB's?

I've heard he bombed his interviews....I don't know much...just passing on some cryptic info.

chargers at 19(they are probably the most popular pick to get him right now),the jaguars could take him at 28(they've never really had a ballhawking safety), denver at 29(they resigned john lynch but he is old), and the steelers would look at him at 32. (they need someone to go with polamalu)

its a possibility that he could slip to 33, but many teams need a good safety, and it would be very hard to see him falling to the 2nd.

The jags are looking for CB help, not FS help. Denver just invested a lot into their secondary last year, I doubt they go early again. Pitt is more likely to take a RB, LB, or OG/OC.

Thats why I didnt include those teams.

Dallas also needs to upgrade their Oline. I have them taking McNeil but I guess they might take Winston too. They also could go WR or MLB. They may also want to look for a #2 CB. All that before FS unless KO was there at their second round pick.
