I know it's not big news, but does anyone know anything about this guy or if he would be worth taking a look at?

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the St. Louis Rams have waived OL Khiawatha Downey. He was en-route to join the team when he ran into issues traveling. After alerting the team, he was then out of contact for 12 hours and missed a morning weight session, which prompted the team to waive him. He is likely to file a grievance against the Rams.

That's what I was thinking, it seems like kind of a goofy reason to release someone unless they were looking for a reason to release him, but I am not too familiar with the way teams handle their players in the offseason so I dunno...
