I think we should make a DEFENSIVE effort this draft and forget about Kevin Kolb. We get a Veteran QB in the second FA period and have him start for 3 years. We dump him and Sage, draft this kid and have him start.

SMU has some interesting players this year as does Baylor, and So. Florida.
Not prudent to iggnore the smaller programs out of hand. Lot of interesting RBs also. Race, Micheal Bush looks as though he might fall to us now, and the kid from AZ,

Chris Henry RB The phenom, star at the Combine, stuck with his Combine numbers and only did position drills. At the Combine, Henry (5-11 ¼, 230) ran 4.40 and 4.41 in the 40 and notched a 36-inch vertical, a 10-foot-7 broad jump, a 4.16 short shuttle, a 6.96 three-cone drill and 26 bench presses.

Hard to ignor those kind of numbers. Going to be interesting to see who reaches and how high with Henry and his numbers.

If Petterson supposedly is the be all end all to the Texan's woes, does that mean we by pass the best RB on the board at 39 now with Green in the fold ? People don't willingly take RBs high now. Sooner or later, you gotta pay them. Just judging by the hoops Sean Alexander last year and now Mcgehee this year, went through to get their money, be hard headed not to see this as a fact now in the cap driven NFL.

You NEVER start a rookie QB right off the bat. It's a horrible idea to even think about it.
