If San Francisco take Alex Smith, then The Dolphins are going to take Michigan Wideout, Braylen Edwards and aren't looking to trade the pick anymore. That should mix some things upLooks like we might be getting one of the players we love at 13 if we stay there.

Nick Saban might feel as if they still got a good one with Griese though. I mean does he have any real offensive threats to go with him? They only got that one WR and really what is after that?

They need alot of things badly. It all depends on their draft board. The names most often associated is Ronnie Brown, or Alex Smith. There is so much smoke and mirrors this time of year, I wouldn't trust any of this pre-draft talk. This is the most mixed up draft I have ever seen at the top. There are few, if any, true superstars, and the QB crop is one of the worst ever imo. Why "reach" for need if you are the Fins if Edwards, Brown, etc., is #1 on your board. That is a bad mistake imo.

Actually I think the Vikes would rather get a good CB considering how their defense stunk it up bad last year.

they got smoot in the offseason...CB isn't their biggest need anymore...WR is...i still think the vikes will trade up and give saban the 7th overall a second rounder, and a 2nd rounder next year...they won't part ways with their other 1st rounder...the vikes will take edwards at the number 2 spot and saban will secretly get the runningback he's wanted all along in Ronnie brown who will fall to him at that spot

all lies.... Dolphins need a QB BADLY!!

Even if so, does not mean a team should take a guy they are not sold on with the 2nd pick in the draft.

There are only two can't miss picks were you know exactly what you are getting in this draft. Mike Williams is one and Ced. Benson is the other. Neither of them do I want to raise a Texans jersey. Dolphins are spinning things like they are running for office. They know they need a RB and since they cant get one in the second round they will get whomever is tops on their board. Cleveland will be looking to get Braylon which will entice Minn. to make a move on him since it is likely that Chicago will try and monkey wrench the top part of the draft by picking someone that is unexpected. I actually think Chicago might go after DJ. That would give them one hell of a LB crew.

The Vikes picked up Fred Smoot to team up with Antoine Winfield this offseason.

They don't need a CB. They could either go WR or RB with their first.

chambers on one side and Edwards on the other makes Fiedler (or anyone else) a better QB - I guess they trade for a RB.

Yeah like Travis Henry if he doesn't go to Arizona

The Vikings have added a lot on defense from DT Pat Williams (one of the better run stuffers in the league), to LB Napolean Harris (part of Moss trade), to CB Fred Smoot (I think someone else as well). They should be improved with just those moves. They need a star WR badly. Keep in mind they still have a 2nd 1st round pick to fill additional needs.

I fully expect them to trade one of their RB's too (probably Michael Bennett). They have at least one too many.

True, I didn't think about there backfield which is over stocked to say the least.

Fiedler is the backup for the Jets now. I think Frerotte and AJ Feeley are Miami's current QB's. I'd be surprised if they took a Rodgers. They might take Smith if he fell, but I think they want to see if they wasted a 2nd on Feeley first.

I believe the someone else you're thinking of is Darren Sharper the former Green Bay safety. Add all those additions to who they already have, and you've got a pretty good looking defense. Udeze, K.Williams, P. Williams, Mixon on the D Line. I'm going to guess Henderson, Harris, and Thomas as the LBs. Then Smoot, Winfield, Chavous, and Sharper as the DBs. Definately the makings of a powerful defense.

DANG!!!!! That is alot. My bad. I guess I'm just so caught up in our team that I don't really care about others in the offseason.

Packers are in serious trouble this year.

The Vikes are also looking to sign J. Foreman and look for them to add a pass-rusher in the draft to replace Mixon. They were going after Carlos Hall but he got away. They should be at least interesting to watch this year.
