The Associated Press reports Carolina Panthers rookie WR Drew Carter (knee) tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Wednesday, June 2, and will likely miss the 2004 season. Carter injured himself while running during Wednesday's morning practice. An MRI later confirmed Carter had re-torn his surgically repaired knee, according to a team spokesman. Carter has now torn his left ACL twice and his right ACL once.
I wouldn't want any injuries, but to tell you the truth, I'd rather the injuries happen now instead of after the season starts. If they happen now, the team has time to find replacements. If they happen after the season starts, the team is left trying to play catch up.ledzeppelin269 said:Thats extremely disappointing to hear. Heres to no Texans going out with an injury, especially those before the season even starts.
