WR is like the lowest of the low in priorities right now.
MS doesn't even look to throw to Hopkins until the 4th quarter, wouldn't want to give him too many targets to throw interceptions to. Besides, MS can't throw deep so we can't use anyone with speed.
Well I would say go for it but that's the part of me that knows the kid personally with him being a friend of the family and former teammate of my little bro.
But he'd be wasted here. He is a deep threat that stretches the field and that's something we basically don't bother doing. Would be nice to have a trio like Peyton does in Denver but still need someone to take advantage of it.
Side note...what are the Browns thinking? Okay, you want to get a franchise QB. What does a franchise QB need? A freaking receiver. You have a young one who has shown a lot of potential and ability to play on this level so you want to trade him for a pick for yet another unknown? Sorry but that's just backwards.
"It means nothing to me if we can't win as a team while doing it,'' said Gordon, who caught seven passes for 151 yards, including an 80-yard TD that extended the Browns' lead to 19-3 with 1:25 left in the third quarter.
Gordon's 151 yards passed Braylon Edwards (1,289 in 2007) for the franchises single-season record. Gordon now has league-leading 1,400 yards (and eight TDs) in 11 games -- five fewer games than it took Edwards to set the mark.
He surpassed Detroit's Calvin Johnson (1,348) for most yards in the NFL -- despite missing the first two games of the season on a suspension.
He has totaled 774 receiving yards over the last four games, an NFL record, according to Elias Sports Bureau. Gordons seven 100-yard games this season are a club record and he is the only Browns player to record four straight 100-yard receiving games. Twelve of Gordons 13 career touchdowns have come from 20-plus yards. Gordon is the first Browns player with at least one touchdown catch in four consecutive games since WR Kevin Johnson in 2001. In addition, his 2,205 receiving yards are the most by any player in their first 27 games as a Brown.
"He's a hell of player, man,'' said Aqib Talib. "He's young. He's going to make some noise in this league. He's pretty good.''
Don't see why they would trade for Josh Gordon. He's young and on pace to be great. That doesn't seem very Texans-like. Now, once he gets over the hill and is a free agent, watch out!

Forgot part of the bolding above.
He's one failed test away from a year long suspension. No thanks.
