The NFL announced Monday that the Cleveland Browns wide receiver has been reinstated on a conditional basis. Gordon will have to serve a four-game suspension before he can play again for theBrowns, but he will be allowed to participate in training camp.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport first reported Gordon's conditional reinstatement.

The 25-year-old pass-catcher met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell last Wednesday after failing yet another drug test in March. He was slated to apply for reinstatement on Aug. 1, but Goodell chose to speed up the process. Gordon was initially suspended in February 2015 for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

How the hell did he get reinstated? He has failed the drug policies so many times and the punishment is supposed to get worse each time? Here goes the NFL again with their inconsistencies on how they issue out discipline.

I hear ya, but when you let a total dirtbag scumcrap cheating POS like Tom Brady who undermined the integrity of the game on the field off with only a 4 game suspension, it's pretty hard to hit Josh Gordon with more than that because he had a couple of drinks or lit up a doobie in the off season.

Well, there's one opinion.

BTW, Gordon's last suspension was over having a couple of drinks with teammates on a flight during the offseason. Maybe God'ell felt bad about the last suspension he gave Gordon. Nah God'ell would have to have feelings for that to happen.

BTW, Gordon is and will remain a fool.

Lol! Your post is so full of ridiculous hyperbole that all I can do is get a laugh.

I'm kind of wondering if suspending a player for four games is the best way to do this. I mean is four weeks of idle time the best thing to hand someone with a substance abuse problem? It just crossed my mind while I was reading this thread.
