Jerry Gray = possibility of Vince Young

If youre in favor of getting Vince Young, you should hope that Jerry Gray is the next head coach. He talked about picking Carr off 3 times and he didn't go out of his way into praising Carr. (very nitpicky I know.......) He did go out of his way to talk about Peek and Babin though.

Being a UT grad, he also praised Vince Young in the press briefing.

I just also wanted to throw that out there.
 
I'm still for Kubiak, Ferentz, or Linehan. Kubiak is starting to look like the best choice if he can bring his ol coach and qb coach with him. I'm more concerned about who we get as defensive cordinator.
 
Yeah I'm also up for Kubiak if he can bring along some of the Denver coaches. I just wanted to bring this up since Vince has been quite the subject lately. It's assumed that Kubiak would keep Carr.

Rumor Mill: According to "sources" the Texans were smitten with Al Saunders and he is neck and neck with Kubiak.
 
I hate to say it, but I have a feeling that Gray was brought in to satisfy the league officials.
 
i really hope we get al saunders Gary kubiak wasnt good enough the 1st time around what makes him so great now. but i also wouldnt mind seen cam cameron as our next coach.
 
Gary Kubiak wasn't good enough the first time because Dom Capers was very successful with another expansion team and is great with the media. Kubiak has actually said that he is glad that he got five more years of experience under Shanahan and feels much more ready now.
 
Yeah but I don't think anyone thought that Kippy Brown had a chance to be the next coach.

This is one I can say 100% that it is not true. Gray was set to come in for sometime as top candidate although he lost his luster with the Bills having a disappointing season.
 
I believe Jerry Gray will be the Texans DC next year assuming Kubiak (speculation - he has already been offered the job) approves them move and that Gray does not get a HC offer elsewhere. Gray will be a HC very soon in the NFL, if not this offseason, just not with the Texans. I suspect Detroit and New Orleans will have an interest in him.

It's been quoted in the Denver Post and on local TV in Denver that the Broncos are resigned to the fact that Kubiak is leaving and that he will be taking the O-line coach with and another, which I think is the QB coach. Sounds good to me.

On another note about Kubiak, it was reported this morning (Sunday) in the Denver Post by their beat writer Anderson, that Kubiak would NOT take Reggie with the 1st pick as his scheme doesn't need a 1st round back. Probably just a bunch of conjecture by him, but has some ring of truth.
 
Some speculation that Kubiak will take David Diaz as OL coach. He is an ex-bronco and does color for broncos tv coverage.
