Has anyone heard this? I caught the tailend of it on ESPN last night, but, I haven't found any foundation to it. Don't know why, for how long, or when.

I heard it. I think it's a 2 game suspension..don't quote me on that though.

And he will play this Sunday.

And he gets to pick when he goes to prison which will conveniently be the offseason.

ATLANTA - Jamal Lewis is expected to be suspended for two games by the NFL on Friday, one day after the Ravens running back pleaded guilty in a courtroom here to using a telephone to facilitate a drug-trafficking crime, sources within the Ravens organization said Thursday night.

The team received word Thursday about the league's punishment, which will sideline Lewis for the Oct. 24 game against the Buffalo Bills and the Oct. 31 game at the Philadelphia Eagles

He will be serving 4 months jailtime.. Although most of that time will be community service, including talking to children about the dangers of getting involved with drugs..

This will more than likely be served in the offseason... :thumbdown
