Jags vs Texans Predictions

texans - 31

jags - 17

total yards are gonna be nearly identical...but we're gonna pull away in the end with a few costly turn over's :bguitar:

Jags 24 - Houston 10

There is NO chance Houston gets over 20 points this weekend..... no way, notta, zilch, ain't happenin..... If Houston scores 3 TD's against the Jags I will be shocked, stunned, flabergasted. Domanick Davis is the key for Houston - if he can consistently run for 5 yards per carry then the Texans will have alot of 2nd and 3rd and shorts - which will put less pressure on Carr. If Carr drops back to pass on 3rd and 8 all game long then they are doomed.

Houston wins this game ONLY IF Davis rushes for 100 plus yards and a score.... offensive line has to create openings for DD to exploit.

OUT......

Since I am always called a tinhorn on their board, I needed a name for them. Something fitting, but not offensive. :hmmm: And I got it.

Gotta remember they did it before and they did it Chicago.

21-17 Texans win

Texans will take this one if we dont have to play the zebra's as well as the jac-offs! They call a fair game, the way it should be called, and the Texans will come out on top.

Texans 17
Jac-offs 6

Our D will be HOT!! Lefty will eat dirt!

Frankly I am dissapointed in the Texans this season. After playing us earlier I had hopes for them. I know you guys are diehards but it must be hard to see that they went through the season without any quality wins, except the sole victory over the Jags...the only team with a winning record they topped...thanks in part to the Jags' best player Fred Taylor on the sideline and Leftwich playing the last 3 quarters with a torn lcl.

With wins over Titans twice, Bears, Chiefs, and Raiders, its no surprise that they are underdogs in this coming game and have failed to get the respect that Carr and Dom so grave. When you only manage to oust the league's worst teams this season...you just don't get props...deservedly so.

Jacksonville beat Indy on their turf, Green Bay in Lambeau, Bills in Bufalo and Denver amongst others...as fans that what you want to see...that your boys can play the big dawgs and win...not just compete.

Leftwich is only in his 2nd year and has proven that he can face the most abrasive conditions and still come out victorious. He has 15 TDs to Carr's 13 and 8 ints to Carr's 12. And he missed 2 games this season. You be the judge on who's made more strides to becoming a true star in the league.

Jags lost to one mediocre team in Titans and 1 average team in Texans that dropped us to 6 Ls and that's something they have to work on to become a consistent winner. The 4 other losses to San Diego, Indy, Vikings and Steelers is telling...considering these are division winners already heading to the playoffs. Vikes' division is still undecided but you get my drift.

I respect your team and cherish your WR trio but I'm comforted to see that the Jags proved this year that right now they are in a different level to up and comers like your texans. May the better team win on Sunday with no injuries to either party. Trust me we are all too aware of the pesky Texans so nobody is thinking this is going to be a cake walk.

No smack was intended in this post...rather, I expressed my opinions. Good luck next year and hopefully you'll show show true strides...not just by upping your win totals but by ousting contenders to become one. Go Jags!!

ok first of all jags fan, you cant compare carr to byron, considering how carr had to grow up with this team with no supporting cast. Byron came in and already had great stars around him, same goes for Big ben, do you honestly think he could of come into houston during our inaugurial 2002 season and won many games ? It takes years to build up a team to compete, unless you wanna get all old veterans such as carolina did when capers was there, but then you have one shot and you see how it worked out for them ! hard to even compare our team to yours, and by the way we still do lead the series over yall !

That excuse is really getting old. It's his 3rd year now, he has talent around him but he has barely made progress (numbers wise) from his first year to this year. He looked to be breaking out at the beginning of the year, but I think has since regressed.

Also let me remind you Byron played much of last year with a supporting cast that included an out of shape Jimmy Smith, JJ Stokes, Matt Hatchette and Kevin Johnson.

Oh yeah, prediction. If Taylor starts:
Texicans 14
Jags 28

If Taylor doesn't start:
Texicans 17
Jags 20

ok ok well look at big ben do you think he coulda started out with this team and been as successful as he has been ? Look at kurt warnr when he won the superbowl with the rams, he had little to do with it, it was all the players around him. We started from scratch you give us another year and i assure you we will give you a run for your money ! We are on the rise, and look at carrs numbers from 2002 till now and you will see a BIG improvment !

The jags are only 2-3 against The Texans now 2-4 after sunday, I Think come next year the Texans will do more then give them a run for their money they will own them. :fight:

as of today and the overall record we already own them ! They will be looking at us from the bottom, just as we have made the titans do ! :coolb:

If you can't count, then that statement would be accurate, otherwise it is ignorant:

2002 52.5 comp % 2592 yds 5.84 ypa (that would be yards per attempt for jagoff fans) 9 TD's 15 INT's 62.8 QB rating

2004 60.9 comp % 3286 yds (so far) 7.79 ypa 14 TD's 12 INT's 84.5 QB rating

Yah, sure--no progress (numbers wise) from his first year to this year.
