What is your point in posting that here? I mean no offense, but whoohoo after y'all covered up a bunch of seats you still had to get a special exception from the NFL to get extra time to sell enough seats to your HOME OPENER when you are supposed to be in play-off contention. I'm just not seeing where there is anything to be proud of in that. But good luck against the Seahawks.

Well, first of all, this is the NFL general section and it pertains to the NFL, along with the fact that had it been blacked out, you guys would have been all over it like white on rice

My post was intended, as stated for those interested.
Oh, and the fact that there was a hurricane threatening to be coming through during weekend can tend to hindure some peoples decisions in going to a football game.

But, here we are, Monday morning...I am burnt to a crisp despite wearing an SPF 45...the stadium was packed and loud and we walked away from it winning 26-14....so how bout them Texans?

The 'cane is up in the Carolinas, so doubt that could be counted as a factor of fan deterence at Alltel. Congrats on your win over the Ospreys. We were trampled by a herd of Bills.
Get some aloe vera on that sunburn. There is some great stuff out there with Lidocane mixed in that takes the pain away until you heal.

Wonder if that works on the pain of defeat too?

That storm was being a pest it was sitting about 200 miles east of Cocoa BEach....no one knew what the heck it was gonna do...Wednesday and Thursdays there was a projected path of it going out and then back and, well Ophelia is a very stubborn b****!!

Yea, I was tracking her until I got too wrapped up in Texans events. She is a defiant one! I read that there was over 35" of rain just off Cape Canaveral (about 20mi off shore) because of her, good thing she was just that far off shore and not closer in!

There was MAJOR beach erosion all along the jax beaches and south. Millions had been spent already to replace the sand lost from last years storms.

LoL....guess we could be pm-ing instead of boring the others, huh?! Oh well
