I think some people forget that just last year Ruben Droughns rushed for 1200+ yards. He is not a slouch and fits with the system that they run. It is obviously to early to know, but I think they will look for a guy in the mid rounds that could help share the load.

The more videos I watch of AP the more I think we should take him at pick #8 and get a safety in a latter round. I think there is a good chance that we bring in Michael Lewis through FA so maybe be could pick up Meriweather in the 2nd.

They would never take lundy or taylor. They would go for a 3rd or fourth rounder along with the eight pick..

They probably pass on Peterson due to the fact that Droughns has had (2) 1200+ yd seasons in the last 3 years. However Droughns will be entering his 8th season which is past the prime and end of the road for most RBs in the NFL.

You're talking about a team that passed on Reggie Bush and Vince Young last year.

And in 2005 they traded down to draft Travis Johnson instead of drafting LT Jamaal Brown at #13 who is now a PRO BOWLER. Think we could use him now?

I'm not going to get my hopes up with this team's draft anymore...

Rueben also fumbles too much, is it me or did he fumble twice against us? Atleast once I know of.

If he gets past the Browns we are good to go with Adrian Peterson, and thats what Gary Kubiak wants, maybe him maybe not but there will be a big named RB in our backfield next year.

It really does depend on the Browns. It will hurt us of the Raiders take Quinn with #1. I dont know if the Browns will take Russel... hopefully they will take Joe Thomas though instead of AP.
