The Bears beat the packers in Lambeau. How bad are the bears? How good out the Lions? Texans are 0-2! :woot

It was a very good game by both sides, but in the end the Lions deserved to win that one. I wouldn't be tossing around the "turnover prone" monacher just yet because Joey isn't exactly looking like he's given up his turnover problem yet either. It's unfortunate that DD fumbled twice, and now 4 times in two games. Today's game was a bigger surprise than the Charger game because I would think that was a point of emphasis for the coaches. If he keeps performing like this we could be seeing more of Hollings.

DD made it tough on him now.. Teams will be gunning for the strip now more than ever

Exactly how did you "handle" us? You won the game, but by no means did you dominate both sides of the ball. If it weren't for Tiki .... I mean Domanick Davis, things would be different. But the Lions made us pay for the two fumbles, so props to them. Domanick Davis has officially made his way to the S-list.

The Lions handled the Texans the same way a person winning the lottery is a self made millionaire.

The one thing I can't for the life of me figure out is why when the Texans have the ball at the Lion's 23 and a first and 15 they call 2 run plays and a short pass. I understand the concept of getting points on the board, but when the team is well within Brown's range. I don't expect them to go for it on 4th down there, but they were playing for the FG only.

The 3rd and long defense is among the worst I have ever seen. Considering the Texans have the personnel to put teams into that position I have to believe the schemes on 3rd and long are incorrect. Memo to Vic Fangio, if the offense needs 13 yards for a 1st down you can't call something designed to give up 14.

Carr must have been having flashbacks to season 1. He was rarely getting time to set.

It might be time to start looking for another stud corner coming out of college. Aaron Glenn has looked nothing better than average in 4 preseason games and 2 regular season games. The INT was nice, but he gave up 2 TDs and I didn't see intensity there.

When did the Texans trade for Tiki Barber and why did he change his last name?

In all fairness, Glenn got beat on one of those TD's. On the first one, he was all over Williams, but Williams out jumped him and earned that TD. I think Glenn played well, and his INT was HUGE, but Tiki Davis negated that by coughing up the ball ...... again.

I totally agree with you on our 3rd down defense, we had several down and distance situations in our favor and failed to stop them. If this keeps up, I'm going to be bald by the middle of october. We had over 400 yards of offense yet we only scored 16 points. Compare that to Detroit with under 300 and 28 points. The obvious difference is turnovers. Turnovers, not playcalling, are the difference between us being 0 -2 and being 2 - 0.

If we turn the ball over like we have been, KC is going to embarass us next week. They're 0-2 also, and I think Dick Vermeil is all out of tears to cry.
