Not making the playoffs doesn't shock anyone. To the average NFL fan if their team does not make the playoffs they are upset.

Shocking the NFL would be if we played well in the playoffs. Even just making the playoffs would not shock anyone I don't think.

cuppacoffee takes a shot at UT and their fans and that's OK because, you know, he's "Irish". But when I jab back (mainly because UT was never mentioned a single time until he made his remark), I'm a jackass who deserves to be vented on by someone who has an obvious lifelong sore spot about his team (you). But of course, it's OK for you to rant on and bring unrelated things to the table to justify your emotional outburst...

I don't think and never said you were a jackass. To be honest, the comment about the "tu orngebloods was in regards to those who are not real fans but want every single player from ut on the roster, including those that wanted ricky williams even with all his drug issues. Plus all the complaining about vy and wearing his jersey to the home game. It was not a slap at you per say but at certain people. The term entitlement which yet you bring up again is a term I do not care for and that is why I said what I said. You have clearly catagoriezed me and any Irish fan you come across. I did not bad mouth you I said ...

I guess you do not read the stuff from ut folks on here wanting every guy who ever played at ut, even if he is a pot headed loser. Heck they were upset sloan thomas was released even though he was never picked up by another team.

I don't want to go back and research it, but I don't believe I ever called you a name. If I did, then that was wrong, and I'll apologize for it.
The real point is, as I said earlier, that I was joking. You are very, very hung up on the word entitlement. I don't want to explain it, nor do I feel it's necessary. I was making a joke and taking a jab at cuppacoffee as I've maintained from the start. Look back at his posts subsequent to my original one. He took a good natured shot at me, and neither of us were bent out of shape over it.
I guess I know now exactly how you feel on the subject, and where your sensitivities lie(lay? never was good with the usage of this word...), but I will tell you now please don't expect an apology from me on this matter other than if I see that I did in fact resort to to name calling. I still don't believe I did.
cuppacoffee is a big boy as far as I can tell, and seems unbothered by the whole incident. I'd just as soon stop talking to you about the whole thing because it's taking on traits of arguing politics or religion at this point... never really a great idea, IMO.
