They set him up to fail. And you guys after that fact...trying to support your DC hate/VY love by saying see there the stats prove it...David Carr suxs...all that makes you is stupid, not a stinking genious.
hmm... If there was a QB out there, that could perform behind our offensive line, would you want to get that guy in here?? If there was such a guy?? Don't tell me there isn't, because that isn't what I'm asking right now. IF there was a guy that could perform behind our line, would you want that guy playing for us, or would you rather we stick David back there again??
There's an old saying in the computor world, garbage in...garbage out...and that is what you're doing with these stats. There is a reason DC is a train wrecked mess. And it ain't DC. You wanna say, we've had a decent o-line and DC should have shown more Like Richard Justice said yeaterday...prove it...who is our all pro canidate on our o-line ? Which one is that ? Just who would that be ? Where are all the first and second round selctions on this o line that they picked over the last five years ? Who are they ? No, what we've had for the first four years, is a bunch of rejects, projects and broke backed old guys with little left in the tanks. And that's just the o-line.
Chester Pitts managed to start on our Line regardless who was brought in to make that decision, THat's got to say something about that bit of talent. & why does he have to be a first or second round pick?? Weary was the 66th pick of t he draft, that's just two picks out of the second........ is that close enough??
Then Charlie Casserly(who has had success before coming to Texas), Dom Capers(who has had success before coming to Texas), Dan Reeves(who has built championsip teams before coming to Texas), Mike Sherman(who has had success before coming to Texas) & Gary Kubiak(who has had success before coming to Texas) all said the Talent on our offensive line was good enough to win. Replacing only a Center(with a ProBowler), and our Left Tackle with a third round pick.
But no matter what...... they always come up short.
Get into the so called head coach and offensive coordinators ? You guys hated DC the momment this organazation drafted him.
Bull
By passing Vincent just sent some over the cliff. He should of shown more ? good greif. You've mark yourselves out of hand with your posts. You're football ignorant...nothing more.
hmm.........
In his 3rd year, J.P. Losman performed better than David Carr, despite being sacked more often. With comparable(IMHO less) talent around him.
In '06 Michael Vick's numbers are comparable to Carr's..... same kinda talent.. we have no problem saying Michael Vick sucks.
Rothlisberger..... sacked 46 times..... 3500 yards, 18 tDs, 23 INts.... are they blaming the team, or are they saying Ben needs to play better??
Marc Bulger..... sacked 49 times, but he's going to the proBowl. But that's probably because of Tory Holt.
Charlie Frye... 44 sacks....... Tell me what you think about him.
Jon Kitna....... 68 sacks..... 4300 yards... 21 TDs, 22 Ints.. would you consider that better??
Dallas gave up 37 sacks, only 6 less than we did on the year. but they were doing better than us, even when Bledsoe was the most sacked QB of the season. Romo getting sacked 21 times in ten games...... But he's going to the ProBowl.
whether you like it or not, those are the guys who performed in similar situations to Carr. But for some reason, Carr is the only one who's faults are not his own.
I am sick of it. Just because we're not posting about it doesn't mean we're happy about it. Please take this dog on the porch chasing it's tail BS to the bull pen please...it doesn't belong on these threads. You guys are happy warring over it fine. I ain't swallowing the Jim Jones Kool aide over Vincent with you. You wanna show your south ends fine...just take it where it belongs.
...It doesn't belong in here.
funny, I didn't even mention YKW.
If you don't want anymore discussion about Carr here..... then let this be that last word.
because I will respond again....... especially if you call me stupid again.
