Who is the one guy that would upset you the most if he's there at whatever pick & the Texans pass on him?

Like if Neal is there when the Texans are on the clock?

Or Green at 37

Or Cook at 108?

Neal at #3

Thibodeaux at #13

Booth at #37

But this is kind of a catch 22. You have to wonder what is up with a guy falling well outside of where he was projected to go and all of a sudden he is available to you.

Ok with multiple ways they can go at 3. It will shape how the rest of the draft is approached and I am fine with whichever way they go.

Kyle Hamilton or Jermaine Johnson at 13 (would be fine with both at 3).

Kenyon Green, Kyler Gordon or Nakobe Dean at 37

Salyer or Nick Cross at 68

Cole Strange, Logan Hall or Coby Bryant at 80

Hard to project much further than that. But i’ll let you know during draft night!

For this exercise I’m asking for the one that would upset you. A guy you really like, but don’t think the Texans have a shot. There’s a better prospect at one pick, say 80.

you don’t expect him to fall to 108, but he does. & the Texans pass.

Who is that guy?

You know the year we drafted Demeco Ryan’s in the 2nd he was considered a 1st rounder and was consistently mocked in the middle of the 1st. He dropped and he was clearly great. Doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Aaron Rogers…..

Mystery poster says: Ya'll are a brilliant group, but when you remain grounded, you're a force to be reckoned with .... here .... let me reel you in from that ceiling a bit !
3) I like Ike !
13) Never pass on Trevor
37) Through a wall for Hall
?) Dyin' for Zion

Name withheld just as precaution !

Yeah, most people have 50 players in the 1st rd when there is only 32 spots. It happens every year and there are players who jump into the 1st rd because the public don't know or can see anyone draft board. Everybody has their draft board, but nobody know how the evaluators see a prospect.

Based on history and experience I expect the Texans to disppoint on just about every time they're on the clock and the pick or the trade is in.

That said, I will be disappointed if an OT Cross or Neal is not drafted with pick #3. Jordan Davis with pick #13 and Skyy Moore or George Pickens or Arnold Ekitibie at #37. And Zamir White with one of the 4th RD picks.

Better take Zion if he's there at #37!

I am hoping some team picks a punter and another team a kicker before Texans pick at 13.

If they don't get better on the ol/dl.

If Icky is the pick.

Steel, Neal often looks lumber-some to me. When asked about his triangle numbers, his response was "if my numbers are that important to you, draft me and you can find out"! That's not exactly the sound of a team player - to begin the build of your offense .... to me.

He's very agile/athletic for such a large man.

Athleticism is the last thing I worry about when it comes to Neal. The only worry I've got is his ability to control his weight.

The guy I really like whom I think will be a baller is TE Trey McBride. He might be there at 37 but not at 68. I see him as Travis Kelce or George Kittle.

A lot of people are focused on WR but if this team wants to play smash mouth football we are likely to see 2 TEs on the field. In Pep’s offense the top TE will catch 50+ passes and be the second leading receiving option. Mcbride has proven he can handle a high volume role as the engine of CSU’s offense and would be a perfect safety blanket for Mills to grow with long term.

Mcbride is Coby Fleener with better blocking.

I'd be happy with Sauce, Ikem, or Hutchinson at #3.

I'd be ok with Neal at #3, but not really happy.

I'd be happy with Jordan Davis at #13. If we don't get Hutchinson at #3, I'd be ok with Karlaftis at #13.

I'd be ok with Hamilton, Stingley, or even Penning if we miss out on Icky and Neal. I would be disappointed if we take Cross at all in the 1st.

I like Trey, but I think he will go too high for us. One TE I like, that can be had on Day 3, is Jake Ferguson from Wisconsin. He reminds me of Dreessen or Fiedo.

Turn it around... if they take him at pick ___ who will make you throw a shoe through your tv?

Hutchison at #3

any TE with any of the 1st 3 picks

any rb at 37..too high for any back to go imo.

If the first 3 picks go like the mock on GMFB this morning, my shoe or the remote probably goes thru my flat screen

1. Aidan
2. Malik Willis
3. Trevon Walker???!!!!???
Get ready to throw your shoe. If he is not taken 1 or 2, I would not even be a little surprised if Walker goes 3.

Hey man I know what you are talking about because I was so pizzed way back in '11 when the Texans drafted some guy called JJ instead of Mizzous Aldon Smith. But you what I got over it.
But in the absence of any trades with the 3 top picks the Jags & Lions are probably going defense so then yes we are likely to draft Cross or Neal or Ickey unless we take Sauce.

Any QB at #3, #13 or #37. I would grind my teeth only a little if they took one at #68 or #80.
Travon Walker at #3 - no. #13, yes.

I will be indifferent if Walker is the pick at #3.

It will show Caserio had the guts to bet on elite traits. I like people that take chances. I would rather see Neal, Hutch or Sauce be the pick though.

If we trade back to the 6-9 range and Walker is there, I won't be upset - as long as Neal or Ekwonu aren't there. Neal shouldn't be but Icky might, especially around 6.

Without any side arms in the car
A car can be a deadly weapon. Just saying. Get a padded room and listen on your phone.
I wouldn't be surprised to see at least 2 TEs drafted. Not uncommon to see a 3 TE set in Pep's offense and used in his power run game.
Very possible. The Texans have 3 TEs on the roster? I think they need to draft a Y and a flex TE.

Agreed majority of my mocks have found 2 TEs. I only really see Brevin Jordan as a lock to make the team. I would prefer a rookie acquired is able to get Pharaoh off the team.
